Applications for March 2015 Elementary and Secondary Advisor Training online. 

The Orange County Department of Education (OCDE), School-based Violence Prevention Education Services, provides conflict resolution training and support at no cost for public and private schools and community organizations. The trainings include:

  • Elementary and Secondary Peer Conflict Mediation Coordinator Training
  • Elementary and Secondary PAL® Peer Assistance Leadership Advisor Training
  • Elementary Conflict Resolution Teacher Training
  • Secondary Conflict Resolution Student Training

In addition, financial support and technical assistance is available to support schools to implement youth-led violence prevention campaigns that address issues contributing to conflict on their campuses.

School-based Violence Prevention Education Services is funded by the Orange County Health Care Agency, Prevention and Intervention Division, Mental Health Services/Proposition 63.
