The Orange County Department of Education provides a two-year advanced training program in all areas specified in California Department of Education Guidelines for the training of Behavior Intervention Case Managers.
B.I.C.M. is a designated certificated school/district/county/nonpublic school or agency staff member (typically a school psychologist) or other qualified personnel who has met state certification, licensing, registration, or other comparable requirements which apply to the area in which she/he is providing special education or related services. The BICM is a certified person who can perform:
- Behavioral analysis
- Functional analysis assessment
- Data analysis procedure
- Positive behavioral interventions
