Every school district in Orange County has a fully implemented, comprehensive guidance
and counseling program.
Mission
The Orange County Counseling Network (OCCN) supports the professional development
of school counselors to place school counselors both conceptually and structurally in the center of
education. OCCN encourages the adoption of both the ASCA National Model and a results-based
approach. OCCN promotes equity and access for all students as school counselors prepare students
for both college and the work world.
