Regional System of District and School Support (RSDSS)

Orange County (Region 9)

The Regional System of District and School Support (RSDSS) is a statewide County Office of Education Network that provided technical assistance and professional learning. RSDSS brokers regional and statewide resources to maximize the capacity of Title I-funded schools and districts to build coherent, sustainable systems to improve outcomes and close the achievement gap.

In California, this support structure is organized through the state's configuration of 11 regions by the RSDSS. Each region, under the leadership of consortium of county superintendents provides regional coordination and collaboration of services through the RSDSS offices RSDSS continues to partner with the California Department of Education (CDE), the Comprehensive Assistance Center, and county offices of education to form the Statewide System of School Support and satisfy federal requirements.
