Orange County Music and Arts Educators Awards

OCDE has made the decision to cancel the OCMAA Awards and 1000 Pieces of Art. OCDE, is committed to finding new ways to celebrate students and teachers in the arts during and after this time.

To that end, and thanks to the idea and input from County VAPA Coordinators, I’m excited to announce a new social media campaign, specific to Orange County. The goal is to spotlight the great work you all are doing and the resulting work students are creating.

Our theme will be:

#OCArts4All

Anyone can use #OCArts4All for things like:

Pictures/videos of students doing arts activities at home

Pictures/videos of staff creating activities and leading students in video lessons

Written/recorded commentaries from students and parents

Videos of community leader (mayors, principals, superintendents, etc.) participating in arts activities

Screenshots of VAPA Zoom meetings

Please feel free to share this communication and this hashtag.

Let's celebrate how the Arts connect us at all times!

Together we will keep the Arts Alive and Growing in Orange County!
