Professional Learning

SUMMER TIME!

This training will lead district teams on a deep dive into the Science Toolkit for Instructional Materials Evaluation. You are encouraged to bring all participants responsible for choosing science instructional materials in your district in order to facilitate strong conversations around the toolkit and materials. Administrators are encouraged to participate.  The first three days will encompass the three-day toolkit training and the last two days are held for your team to begin the review process with technical assistance from the OCDE STEM team.  There are a couple options for the week. Please make sure you sign up for the option that best fits your district needs:

1. You are welcome to attend for the whole week.

2. You are welcome to attend for only the toolkit training on the first three days and we would highly encourage you to attend all three days since none of the three days stand alone, instead they all connect as one training.

3. You are welcome to attend only the last two days for technical assistance and you would be highly encouraged to only choose this option only if your team has already been through the toolkit training and you have access to materials you want to review.
