Drugs and Alcohol Resources for Staff

National Institute for Drug Abuse for Teens: Educator Page

As an educator, you play an important role in educating your students about how drugs affect their body, brain, and behavior. NIDA has a range of age-appropriate curricula and activities designed to help you in this challenging role and support your efforts in the classroom. This website also has facts about various drugs along with helpful resources to use in the classroom.

Alcohol & Drug Education & Prevention Team

The Prevention Programs consist of ADEPT Health Education Team and contracted community- and school-based agencies that aim to create safe and healthy communities by reducing problems associated with alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use through education, training, and technical assistance for Orange County.

National Take-Back Initiative

Participate in the next drug "Take Back" day in your community.  Drop off unneeded meds safely and for free, no questions asked.  The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.
