This website is intended to help teens not be influenced by negative peer pressure but to influence others positively. It has some great videos, facts, downloads, stuff to send your friends and a section on "How to help a friend" if you think they have a problem with drugs and alcohol.
Orange County Friday Night Live Partnership
This program provides opportunities for positive and healthy youth development by engaging youth as active leaders and resources in their communities. OCFNLP takes the form of a club on school campuses and in community-based organizations, and consists of three programs, Friday Night Live (FNL) for high school-age youth, Club Live (CL) for middle school-age youth, Friday Night Live Kids (FNL Kids) for upper elementary-age youth.
PAL Peer Assistance Leadership
The PAL® Peer Assistance Leadership Program is a school-based, peer-to-peer youth development program for students in grades 4-12 built upon a philosophy of students helping students. Established in 1980 by the Orange County Department of Education, the PAL program addresses the underlying causes of violence, tobacco, alcohol, and drug use by youth.
America on Track
America on Track's mission is to improve the social conditions of underserved children and families in order to create health equity & social justice. This is done by providing them with a support system and life-transforming programs that focus on mentoring, youth asset building, academic achievement, health and fitness, gang and drug prevention, and leadership development.
