Each year the Angels Baseball Foundation works with the Orange County Department of Education to identify five (5) elementary schools to adopt. The schools are selected on a need-basis by the Orange County Department of Education in February and then referred to the Angels and the Angels Baseball Foundation. Each year, the Adopt-A-School classes include two (2) schools in Anaheim, one (1) in Orange, one (1) in Garden Grove and one (1) in Santa Ana.

The Angels will support each adopted school-site with the following:

  • Promote growth in literacy programs and bully prevention
  • Grant for $2,000 from the Angels Baseball Foundation
  • School-wide assembly and player visit during the 2019 season / school year
  • Four pack of tickets per student to a 2019 Angels Baseball game at Angel Stadium
  • Adopt-A-School banner presented to each school

In 2019, the Angels Baseball Foundation was pleased to adopt the following schools:

Anaheim Elementary School District

John Marshall Elementary School

Loara Elementary School

Garden Grove Unified School District

Genevieve M. Crosby Elementary School
