The Family Involvement Network (FIN) meets quarterly to address the question: "What does it look like to engage parents and families in meaningful ways to support student success?"

Our mission is to support Orange County students and their families by creating a forum for school, district, and community representatives to come together and share best practices in family and community engagement.

These practices are aligned with the following principles from the California Department of Education Family Engagement Framework:

    1. Build Capacity

    2. Demonstrate Leadership

    3. Allocate Resources

    4. Monitor Progress

    5. Promote Access and Equity

We also explore the role of family and community engagement as one of the domains of MTSS and an LCAP state priority.
