PAL Program Perseverance Award

Applications are now being accepted for the PAL Perseverance Award. The Orange County Department of Education will recognize PAL programs that have continued to find innovative ways to create a positive school climate and support schoolwide student engagement opportunities, despite immense challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. We encourage active PAL programs certified by the Orange County Department of Education (this includes certified programs outside of Orange County) to apply. The deadline to submit an application is Friday, April 8, 2021.

​​PAL Advisor Perseverance Award

This year the Orange County Department of Education will recognize PAL advisors who have continued to support their students, program, and campus during this unprecedented time. At this time we are taking applications for our PAL Advisor Perseverance Award. Nominations should focus on how the PAL advisor has overcome the obstacles of running a PAL program during the 2020-2021 school year. PAL advisors certified by the Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) are eligible to receive this recognition (this includes programs outside of Orange County). Advisors who have recieved the Outstanding PAL Advisor Award are also elibible to receive this award. The deadline to submit an application is Friday, April 8, 2021. Advisors who have previously received the Outstanding PAL Advisor Award are also eligible to receive this award.
