Coming Together for the Climate - A video challenge for California middle and high school students
The Coastal Commission is launching a new challenge for middle and high school students this school year, inviting you to create short videos in response to the question, “How do we come together for the climate?” Deadline for this contest is March 31, 2020.
STEM on the Sidelines
Students are challenged to design, build, and code a rapid-fire mini football launcher to score maximum points at a specific target. The final competition will be on December 8, 2019 at Dignity Health Sports Park, the home of the LA Charger.
Water Awareness Poster Contest - Sponsored by MWDOC
The Municipal Water District of Orange County (MWDOC) contest usually runs this contest in early spring. More details will be posted in early 2020.
Anaheim Public Utilities - Energy Surveys
Inside the Outdoors and Anaheim Public Utilities are in the 5th year of a partnership to provide educational opportunities for students in Anaheim. Anaheim Public Utilities would like to raise students awareness of energy usage in schools and at home. Those who return the completed surveys will be eligible for prizes. Drawings for prizes will be in late January, 2020.
