Water Awareness Poster Contest - Sponsored by MWDOC
Municipal Water District of Orange County (MWDOC) has hosted its Water Awareness Poster Contest (Poster Contest) for over 30 years, inspiring Orange County’s youngest water users to use artistic expression to tell a story about what water means to them. Orange County water providers and their business and education partners promote the contest, encouraging K-12 students in their service areas to have deeper conversations about using water wisely.
All Orange County students are welcome to participate. Forty(40) winners from four (4) grade bands are selected from the entries (K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12) and invited to an outdoor educational event that includes water-centric, hands-on learning stations and an awards ceremony.
The 2023 contest theme is When in Drought, Every Drop Counts!
