The study of fun! Campers will get to start their summer off right, with fun filled days of crafts, games, science, and the great outdoors. From amazing animals to wacky water games, and everything in between. This week of adventures will be one to remember, building forts and friendships that will last all summer. Along with tye dye, skits and songs, the fun goes on and on!
Adventures in the Wild
Join us for a week unplugged as we step back in time to the early days of Shipley Nature Center. Campers will rediscover the ancient art of Native American hunting, gathering and legend telling, as well as the skills needed to be a pioneer in search of gold! But don't forget the past can be full of critters; campers will also get a chance to meet local animals that have been calling Shipley Nature Center home for hundreds of years.
No Place Like Space
3..2..1…Blast off! This week of summer camp will be out of this world! Campers will spend the week outdoors taking a look up at the sky and beyond. Getting to know their galaxy while spending their week experimenting and exploring different phenomena that give us a glimpse into our ever-moving planet Earth. Cosmic crafts and intergalactic games will send campers on an interstellar mission of fun!
A group of campers will inhabit a nature center where they will compete in summer camp challenges of songs, skits, and games to survive our summer! This week outdoors will teach campers the importance of learning survivor skills, observing animals, and the most important tool of all, having a team of friends. Does your camper have what it takes to endure this wild week and become an ultimate camper?
