Summer Day Camp at Rancho Soñado

Summer Day Camp at Shipley Nature Center

  • July 6 to 10, 2020
  • July 13 to 17, 2020
  • July 20 to 24, 2020
  • July 27 to 31, 2020

Summer Day Camp at Irvine Regional Park

  • August 3 to 7, 2020

Camp Hours

Camp Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
Extended Camp Hours: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday

Programs and Fees

  • Summer Camp (6 to 11 years old) - $210 per camper
  • Youth Leadership Camp (12 to 16 years old) - $210 per camper - This program has been designed to help build leadership skills so your camper can be the Naturalist of tomorrow!
  • Junior Naturalist (16 to 18 years old) - $110 per camper (service credit can be obtained for this role)
  • Extended Camp (6 to 16 years old) - $75 per camper

Foundation Member Discount

Current Inside the Outdoors Foundation Family Members receive $15.00 off each week of camp and $5.00 off of extended camp.  Annual family membership must be current to receive this discount.  Become a member today!

Camperships

Limited Camperships will be available for 2020.  Application will be posted by April 1, 2020.

Description of Weekly Themes

Theme ​Description
​Nature Hackers​Explore the amazing "hacks" that animals, plants, and humans use to survive.
​Full STEAM Ahead​We will explore areas that art and science meet through experiments, crafts, and games.
​Tinkers and Thinkers​Travel around the world as we explore global inventions and even come up with a few of our own.
​Save the Turtles​Let's go green and have fun learning ways to save the Earth and be ecofriendly.  Don't forget your reusable straw and scrunchie!
​Amazing Animals​Mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, and arthropods!  This week is all about meeting and learning about animals.
