Programs

​​​ACCESS is committed to individual student success. Student placement is determined by administration at the time of enrollment based on the academic needs and personal circumstances of each student.

Community Day School

Community Day Schools provide a year-round program for students in grades 7th-12th. Students attend school daily, Monday through Friday, for 240 minutes in a classroom setting where teachers facilitate learning through small group instruction.

Independent Study/Contract Learning

Independent Studies provide a year-round program for students in grades 9th-12th. Students meet one-on-one with their teacher for a minimum of 60 minutes per week and are required to complete 20 hours of homework weekly.

Sunburst Youth Academy National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Program

Sunburst Youth Academy is a partnership with the National Guard providing a voluntary 17-month program for students ages 16-18. Students attend school daily, Monday through Friday, during the 5 ½ month residential phase, followed by 12 months of mentoring and support for students.

Pacific Coast High School (PCHS)

Pacific Coast High School follows a traditional school calendar for students in grades 9th-12th. Students participate in UC/CSU-approved/College Prep, online, on-campus, and hybrid courses.

Community Home Education Program (CHEP)

The Community Home Education Program is an independent study program that follows a traditional school calendar for students in grades TK-8th. CHEP offers resources, curriculum, and teacher support to students and parents who choose to educate their children at home.

College and Ca​reer Preparatory Academy (CCPA)

The College and Career Preparatory Academy is a charter school year-round independent study program for students ages 18-25 seeking to complete their high school requirements. Students meet one-on-one with their teacher for a minimum of 60 minutes per week and are required to complete 20 hours of homework weekly. CCPA offers flexible scheduling, Monday through Saturday, with day and evening appointments.

Skyview

Skyview School is a K-8th grade alternative education located in Orange and serves primarily at-risk youth throughout Northern and Central Orange County. 

ACCESS Juvenile Hall Schools (AJH)​

Youth Correctional Education Schools provide year-round education for adjudicated students.  Students attend school daily, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 240 minutes in a classroom setting where teachers facilitate learning through small group instruction.​
