​Individual seeking to attain:

  • 24 Child Development or Early Childhood
  • Education Units (for TK teachers only)
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)
  • Multiple Subject Teaching Credential
  • PK-3 ECE Instruction Specialist Credential

Quality Counts CA Workforce Pathways Stipend Program

Financial assistance available for those who work directly with children in licensed child care program in Orange County. 

Eligibility includes those who are working to complete:
  • CA Child Development Permit (Assistant, Assoc Teacher, Teacher, Master Teacher or Site Supervisor level)
  • AA/AS degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
  • BA/BA in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
  • Infant/Toddler coursework at a community college
  • Before and after school staff earning Early Childhood Education units for CA Child Development Permit
  • Professional development participation (21 hours) who hold a BA/BS or higher degree and teacher permit
