The Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) Assessment and Accountability Network (OC-AAN) exists to provide an opportunity for leaders in education to build their collective understanding of federal, State, and local assessment and accountability systems AND to promote collaboration and communication among education leaders in assessment and accountability to share best practices, problem solving strategies, innovative ideas, and resources.
The Assessment Team provides technical assistance, professional development and information to support educators to continuously enhance assessment practices that inform district and school decision making, teaching and learning.
This network meets several times a year to
share state updates, best practices related to school, district and state level assessments, and strategies for success in using data systems to support teaching and learning.
Local Education Agency (LEA) leaders responsible for, or involved with, State and local assessments, surveys, accountability, and the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) are encouraged to attend as needed.
For additional information,
State Testing resources are also available.
