The Orange County Arts and Special Education Network is open to Special Education teachers involved in arts instruction, arts teachers who serve students with disabilities, and community arts organizations who serve artists with disabilities. The group meets quarterly and provides a space to learn about best practices related to the intersection of arts and special education. The network provides an opportunity for attendees to share and connect about their own work and projects with their students. The group also receives updates and information on how to participate in the annual Orange County Arts and Disability Festival held at MainPlace Mall in the spring.

Visaul and performing artists of all ages who have a disability are invited to submit artwork and/or apply to perform in a countywide celebration of Arts and Disability on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at MainPlace Mall in Santa Ana, CA.​

The annual Orange County Arts and Disability 
Festival is held each spring to culminate  year-round, school and community based arts program efforts, including hands-on workshops, demonstrations, performances, and a visual art exhibit, serving all ages and all disabilities. The opening ceremonies showcases outstanding performers and provides an overview of the day's activities. Individuals and organizations that have sponsored and supported the Orange County Arts and Disability programs are also acknowledged. All schools and organizations serving the disabled are invited to participate in addition to inclusive classes and programs. Each year, a theme is selected and artwork is chosen to as the poster for festival promotional materials. The goal of the festival is to provide an opportunity for artists with disabilities to be showcased, bring the Orange County arts and disability community together and provide education and awareness to the general public about disability.
