Principal

Thank you for visiting our website. I am thrilled to be the Principal of multiple programs operated by the Orange County Department of Education. One of these unique programs is our Connections at Mann: Regional Oral Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Program. This program is located in the city of Anaheim on the general education campus of Mann Elementary School. In addition, we operate an Oral DHH Program serving preschool age students on the campus of Knott Early Learning Center in Buena Park.

Connections at Mann: Oral Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program utilizes an auditory-oral approach and serves students from preschool to sixth grade.  Communication is taught through the development of listening skills, expressive and receptive language skills and the development of oral speech. Sign Language is not taught in this program. Our classes are taught by teachers and therapists with auditory-oral and child development training and experience.

Students are referred to the program by their district of residence. We work closely with our local school districts to ensure students get a quality education that is individualized to their needs. Students are instructed in a special day class on a general education campus with opportunities for mainstreaming.

Our Connections at Mann: Regional Oral DHH Program is top-notch and our dedicated and caring staff is the best around!  We strive to provide our students with the most enriching and best educational environment possible on a daily basis and to meet all of their individual and unique needs.

I welcome your questions, comments, and suggestions. Please contact our office at 714-796-8900 for more information.
