CHEP EXPO Extravaganza and Variety Show

A great time was had by all at the annual EXPO. Creativity of all the students shown through the Variety show, the Catapult Competition, and the projects.

From Hot Pink to PVC...the fantastic catapults launched winners.  Congratulations to:

Gr. K-3: 1st place: Leelu Shigenaka (with a record setting 81 ft. 5 in.); 2nd place: Martin Hernandez, and

3rd place: Dominic Oakley.

Gr. 4-8: 1st place: Elizabeth Swingler; 2nd place: Liliana Hernandez, and 3rd place: Jude Goodman

Among all the wonderful displays and projects, 4 stood out to be awarded Grand Champions

Congratulations to:

Natalie Penn and Mahnur Bharucha for outstanding upper grade scienc projects,

Katrina Liao for her social studies display,

and to Audrey Lawrence for her "Just Ducky"  lower grade science project!

CHEP is the Orange County Department of Education's home independent study program, servicing and supporting parents who wish to teach their Kindergarten through 8th grade children at home. We provide this alternative public education to families who live in and adjacent to Orange County. As a public school, services and curriculum are free to participating families.
