Beginning with the class of 2030-2031, AB 2927​ states all students attending California's public schools, including charter schools, must complete a one-semester, stand-alone class on personal finance.

The Orange County Department of Education will support districts as they begin to develop plans for the creation and implementation of this new high school graduation requirement.
