​California Education Code Section 1240(c)(2)(E) and (J) requires that county superintendents verify documentation that demonstrates compliance for local educational agencies (LEAs) participating in the California High School Exit Examination (CAHSEE) Intensive Instruction and Services Program.

The law also requires the county superintendent to report quarterly and annually on the results of any reviews and visits.
