Foster Youth Services Coordinating Program

Types of Services Offered:

Interagency Educational Case Management in support of OC Juvenile Court, Orangewood Children & Family Center (OCFC), Social Services Agency (SSA), Probation Placement, and local educational agencies (LEA). 

Capacity building and collaboration with LEAs and County stakeholders facilitating meetings, professional development opportunities, ongoing trainings, and technical assistance. 


Objectives Include:

  • Improve School Connectedness
  • Expand Early Learning Opportunities
  • Increase Grad​uation Rates
  • Strengthen Post-Secondary Transitions


​LEA Foster Youth Liaison Network Meetings:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of LEA policies and requirements related to foster youth.
  • Enhance collaboration between LEAs and agency partners to optimize service coordination for foster youth.
  • Exchange best practices and valuable resources.
