Boutique Trainings are professional learning opportunities focused on a specific topic or set of practices designed to boost your established PBIS systems and practices. Some of these opportunities are offered once per year.
PBIS 101
What is PBIS? This session is designed for school and district personnel who are new to PBIS, need foundational information on PBIS implementation, and/or want to know more about effectively supporting a multi-tiered behavior system within schools. The purpose is to provide basic information and is not intended to take the place of a team training.

PBIS Technical Assistance
Teams in need of support with developing, implementing, and problem solving for the evolving school climate are invited to engage in this opportunity. Professional learning topics are tailored to the team needs. Examples of technical assistance topics include (but not limited to) teaching PBIS expectations from a culturally responsive lens, developing acknowledgment systems, responding to unwanted behavior, classroom implementation of PBIS, refining Tier 2 practices, using data for decision-making, and more. Two hour minimum required.

Tier 1 PBIS Team Booster Training
If interested, please complete this Tier 1 PBIS Booster Readiness Guidelines Worksheet and follow the
directions on the worksheet for submission.
This 2-day training is designed for teams who need a refresher in PBIS Tier 1 Implementation and/or need to update current PBIS efforts. Training will include implementation features such as Culturally Responsive and Trauma-Informed elements of Tier 1 practices. A recent Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI) score is required for this training.

Systematic Supervision
Non-classroom staff learn preventative and responsive strategies for supervising students in non-classroom settings such as establishing and maintaining positive environments, scanning techniques, connecting with students, and error correction strategies.
This training is designed for any staff responsible for supervising students in non-classroom settings.
- Receive an overview of Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS)
- Understand the expectations & systems of acknowledgement at your school site
- Learn strategies to develop positive relationships & increase desirable behavior in non-classroom settings
- Practice dealing with unwanted behavior
- Discuss & plan a system of supervision unique to your school
