OCDE announces the 2022 Orange County Teachers of the Year
In October 2021, Alondra Diaz from Saddleback Valley Unified School District and Sovey Long-Latteri from Fullerton Joint Union High School District were selected by the California Department of Education as 2022 California Teachers of the Year. Ms. Diaz and Ms. Long-Latteri are two of five teachers throughout California who received this honor. In addition, Ms. Diaz has been named the California representative to the 2022 National Teacher of the Year program. Each year, only one of the California Teachers of the Year are selected to represent our state in the national competition.
