Southern Coast R-TAC Community Schools Summit
ABOUT THE SUMMIT
Join CA Community School Partnership Program (CCSPP) grantees from Imperial, Orange, and San Diego Counties to explore the fundamental components of the community school strategy and relevant resources.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to listen and learn from our guest keynote speaker, and connect with other grantees during peer learning sessions. The peer learning sessions will provide a way to advance knowledge, and practice will focus on specific topical areas identified by grantees.
Topics to be covered: belonging, promising practices, asset and needs assessment, collaborative leadership, family and community engagement, leveraging partnerships, role of community school coordinator, and lots more.

When: Oct. 14 to 15, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: California Center for the Arts, Escondido (340 N. Escondido Blvd., Escondido, CA 92025)
Audience: LEA Community School Coordinators, Site Admin, Community School Coordinators, Teachers, School Counselors, and community members interested in supporting community school strategy efforts, etc.
