Casa Family DayFamily Day is a “national movement to inform parents that the parental engagement fostered during frequent family dinners is an effective tool to help keep America’s kids substance free.” This year, Family Day is September 24, 2012.
FINE The Family Involvement Network of Educators: Harvard Family Research Project
There are both free and paid subscription resources through FINE. Some of the resources include research, newsletters, and information about Parent Information and Resource Centers (PIRC).
National Network of Partnership SchoolsThe NNPS site describes partnership models for schools, districts, and states. Subscribers receive “updated information, research results, and ideas for action from the NNPS staff and members across the country.” It has links to previously published research.
U.S. Department of Education (USDE)This page entitled “WORK WITH PARENTS & THE COMMUNITY: Parent Involvement” is meant for a broad audience to address specific provisions under Title I, Part A of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA).
