It is a privilege to serve as principal of a school community built on the belief that every student deserves to be known, valued, challenged, and supported.

My commitment to this work is both professional and personal. In addition to my experience as an educator and school leader, I am the parent of three adult children, including a child who is differently abled. That experience has given me a deep appreciation for the strengths families bring, the complexity of navigating systems, and the importance of having educators who listen, communicate clearly, and follow through.

My leadership is grounded in relationships, shared responsibility, honest communication, and a steady focus on what students need. I believe our strongest work happens when families, educators, related service providers, and district partners work together consistently, with the student at the center of every conversation and decision.

At Connections at Mann, we serve students with diverse and complex learning needs from kindergarten through sixth grade. Although every student's program is highly individualized, our commitment is shared: to create safe, joyful, and structured learning environments where students can strengthen their communication, independence, confidence, and academic and functional skills.

Leading in special education has reinforced for me that meaningful progress does not look the same for every student. A new way to communicate, greater participation, a step toward independence, a successful transition, or the mastery of an academic skill are all accomplishments worthy of recognition and celebration.

I am incredibly proud of our teachers, paraeducators, nurses, therapists, support staff, and office team. They bring patience, expertise, creativity, and heart to their work each day.

Families are essential members of our team. You know your child in ways no one else can, and your insight helps us make stronger and more thoughtful decisions. I want every family to feel welcomed, informed, heard, and comfortable reaching out with questions or concerns. My commitment is to listen, communicate openly, and work alongside you to support your child.
