The Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) Division of Special Education Services is a referral-based program serving students from the 27 Orange County school districts and surrounding areas with in-person and remote learning opportunities. Referrals are made solely by a student's district of residence when a more intensive educational setting is needed.

- Orthopedic Impairment
- Multiple Handicapped
- Emotional Disturbance
- Visual Impairment
- Deaf and Hard of Hearing
We currently have over 400 students on 14 different campuses throughout Orange County. Our programs are divided into Administrative Units (AU's) in the North, Central and South Region. We also operate specialized programs for students that are Deaf and Hard of Hearing in both an elementary oral program and a secondary total communication program.
