​​​​These guidelines and procedures were prepared for CREDENTIALED SCHOOL NURSES to assist them in training unlicensed district personnel, and they represent a standard of care for Orange County public schools.  Each district must make it's own determinations as to which guidelines and procedures to follow.

These guidelines must be individually customized into a health care plan that takes into account the unique needs and circumstances of each student, and involves the student's authorized health care provider, family and other medical and educational professionals.
