Club Live Leadership Academy

The Orange County Department of Education is offering a six-week online leadership academy at no cost to Orange County youth in grades 6-8.

The goals of the Club Live Leadership Academy are to provide opportunities for students to learn leadership and collaboration skills, engage in substance use prevention activities, and meet peers from across Orange County.

Meetings will be held from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. online using the Zoom virtual meeting platform. Two sessions are available:

  • Session 1: Tuesdays, February 9 - March 16, 2021. Registration full, please complete the form below to be added to the waitlinst.

  • Session 2: Thursdays, March 25 - April 29, 2021.   Registration full, please complete the form below to be added to the waitlinst.

Upon completion, students will receive a Club Live Leadership Academy certificate and credit for community service hours.

Students will:

  • Learn public speaking skills, goal setting, project planning, and much more
  • Participate in prevention workshops focused on alcohol, vape, and drug prevention
  • Develop and implement a personal goal setting project and a group community service project
  • Meet new friends
