The Orange County Youth Council (OCYC) includes students from across Orange County who are part of the FNL chapter at their high school or are members of the statewide FNL California Youth Council. These students serve as an advisory group to provide guidance and a youth voice for countywide substance use prevention and mental health promotion. In addition, the OCYC takes an active role in conducting related projects and activities to support prevention efforts throughout Orange County.
During the 2021-2022 school year, OCYC members conducted a countywide social norms campaign. Click here to learn more.
OCYC meetings are held virtually and project updates are shared on the OCFNLP Instagram and Facebook pages.
Applications to serve on the 2021-2022 Orange County Youth Council are now being accepted. Please note an advisor recommendation form is required to complete the application process. The deadline to apply is Sunday, September 26, 2021.
