Does your school have a leadership group or club interested in conducting Red Ribbon Week activities this October? OCDE can train your middle and high school students to provide foundational knowledge to support their substance use prevention efforts. Students will learn the history of Red Ribbon Week, current drug trends affecting Orange County youth, effective prevention strategies, activity ideas, and planning tips. Participating schools will receive a Red Ribbon Week Supply Pack including campaign decorations and promotional materials. In-person and virtual trainings are available to all public, private, and charter schools at no cost. To schedule this workshop for your student leadership group, contact Elke Petras at email@example.com or 714-966-4458.
