Be Sure to bring ALL the necessary forms for your appointment. They can be found under Instructions and Forms tab. Please follow the Instructions completely. Out of Country transcripts must be evaluated prior to your appointment by a CTC approved evaluation company. Foreign Transcripts Evaluation Form. Fingerprint/LiveScan services will be completed at the time of your appointment if necessary.
Please make only one appointment per person.
While we do not maintain a waitlist, you are welcome to check for any canceled appointments online. We aim to respect your time and ensure that we are fully prepared for every educator with an appointment. To help us serve you efficiently, please make sure all your paperwork is completed before you arrive.
The Orange County Department of Education Credentials Unit serves as the liaison to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing for Orange County School Districts and the County Office. We offer Credential and Live Scan/Fingerprint services. Live Scan/Fingerprint fees range from $25-$137 depending on the services needed.
