​​As Orange County School Districts shift instruction into Distance Learning models, the Orange County Department of Education STEM Team is here to support through highlighting resources, best practices and curricula to engage ALL learners. The resources; curricula and sites shared are device agnostic and are intended to support teachers, schools, districts and community partners as they seek to engage learners remotely in Computer Science Education.​​

UC Davis C-STEM - RoboBlockly​

​The RoboBlockly platform (www.roboblockly.com) is well-designed for distance learning of robotics, coding, and math. UC Davis is offering free 1-hour online professional development workshops on Thursdays for the next four weeks for teachers and administrators who want to get up to speed on "Integrating Robotics and Arduino into CS and STEAM Distance Learning." Many of the RoboBlockly learning activities are available to all users in the RoboBlockly Free Curriculum. ​

Dreams for Schools understands that in our current “new normal”, it has been a challenging time for parents, educators, and learners. With so many of us staying safe at home, Dreams for Schools is proud to do our part in supporting the community with online access to all of our programs as well as additional resources.

With their Coding at Home initiative, they're providing resources for K-12 students to continue learning Computer Science & Coding on their own on a weekly basis.
