School counselors are integral members of district and site leadership teams due to their perspective and experience in educating the whole child. Their awareness and understanding of the data relating to academic achievement for all student groups, school climate and culture, and family engagement ensure stakeholders are well informed as they measure success and develop LCAP goals, School counselors implementing the National Model solicit input from their Advisory Council as they develop
program goals and they have opportunities to share results with their Advisory Council as well.
