​​​​​School counselors provide direct and indirect  services in support of MTSS.  Direct services include tiered supports that are  proactive, preventative, developmental, data informed and standards aligned while serving students in academics, college/career, and social/emotional domains.  School counselors interact with all stakeholders in delivering indirect services which include collaboration with administrators and teachers in order to fulfill the school/district’s vision, foster a positive school climate, advocate for inclusive practices and to promote the consideration of the whole child in every aspect of education. ​
