QualityStart OC Projects QSOC Kaplan Leadership Academy 2013-2014 The leadership academy is designed specifically for pre-K program Directors and Coordinators.This five session series will enhance both leadership and managerial skills. Through the series you will increase your understanding of Strengthening Families and the Protective Factors Framework to support the social and emotional health of children and create and sustain a culture of resiliency. You will also learn how to implement a PLC model within your program to increase the effectiveness of both instruction and content within the classroom. Child Signature Program CSP 3, funded by the Children and Families Commission of Orange County and California First 5, provides 34 Orange County preschool classrooms with comprehensive quality improvement support. Teachers, children, and families in participating classrooms receive services from instructional coaches, family support specialists, mental health consultats, health and nutrtition consultats, training, and materials to support high quality early education.
