The Orange County Academic Decathlon (OCAD) invites public and private high school students to compete in a series of academic tests and demonstrations.
The OCAD program is uniquely designed to engage and challenge students of all academic abilities and achievement levels. Teams of students prepare for a competition of academic strength focused on language and literature, science, mathematics, social science, economics, art, music, essay, interview, and speech.
Our mission is to inspire academic excellence and build 21st century skills that prepare students for college and careers.
The program supports achievement of the following California Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) priorities:
