The Academic Content ​& Instructional Supports team supports educators and districts through customized services that promote high-quality instruction across all academic content areas. Early and Expanded Learning Services provides a wealth of research-based professional learning, coaching, technical assistance, and educational incentives for Orange County early learning and care programs, including public and private preschool, child care, Transitional Kindergarten (TK), Kindergarten, and community partners serving young children.

Project GLAD® & Multilingual Academic Services

Orange County Department of Education is home to the National Training Center for Project GLAD® (Guided Language Acquisition Design). Inside the Outdoors​
Inside the Outdoors (ITO), the Orange County Department of Education’s environmental education program, empowers students to explore the natural world through hands-on, standards-aligned learning experiences. Serving more than 100,000 students annually, ITO offers field trips, Traveling Scientist programs, curriculum resources, and community events that connect science learning to local places and environmental systems, empowering students to investigate real-world challenges and become informed stewards of their communities and the environment.​
