Mathematics Engineering Science Achievement (MESA) Schools Program (MSP)
The MESA Program assists students at middle schools and high schools to excel in math and science and become competitively eligible for academically rigorous colleges and universities. MESA partners with teachers, administrators, school district officials, schools and industry representatives to provide quality academic enrichment. Student selection and services are implemented through a collaboration involving teachers at participating schools and personnel from local MESA centers. Check with you school or Chapman University MESA to learn if your school is participating in MESA.
National History Day - Orange County
The Orange County Department of Education proudly hosts National History Day - Orange County (NHD-OC) each spring for students in grades 4-12, to showcase their scholarly accomplishments and to advance young historians to NHD-California State Finals and National History Day.

Academic Talent Search (ATS)
The ATS is a testing program for students in grades 6-10. It identifies students with extraordinary mathematical and/or verbal reasoning abilities, and offers an opportunity to sharpen test taking skills in preparation for the PSAT and SAT Reasoning test well in advance of their junior and senior years in high school.

THINK Summer 2021 Online
A gifted summer program for students ages 13 to 16
Our three-week residential gifted summer program is moving online in 2021! THINK is designed to meet the needs of intellectually curious students. We provide social connections with academically motivated peers, dynamic courses with the option to earn college credit, and virtual gatherings modeled after our in-person THINK experience. University of California Irvine, Summer Session
UC Irvine Summer Session will debut a new pre-collegiate program this summer for academically-minded high school juniors who will be entering their senior year in fall 2020---the High School Summer Scholar Program.
This innovative, experiential program helps students formulate meaningful post-secondary school goals. By previewing “freshman year” through a variety of course subject areas and co-curricular activities, students understand first-hand the intense and unique demands of a college career both inside and outside of the classroom, all during five short weeks in the summer.

University of Missouri High School (MU)
MU offers on-line courses for Gifted and Talented Students. Students can take courses while attending traditional high school to explore topics not typically offered in the classroom. On-line offerings can either be self-paced or traditional semester to fit a variety of learning styles.
