Rights & Responsibilities in History
Each year, National History Day® frames students' research within a historical theme. The theme is chosen for broad application to world, national, or state history and its relevance to ancient history or to the more recent past.
The 2024-25 theme is Rights & Responsibilities in History. Students are encouraged to explore questions of time and place, cause and effect, change over time, and impact and significance by addressing both rights and responsibilities.
